The fourth working group meeting of ISO/TC8/SC3/WG14 (International Organization for Standardization/Ship and Offshore Technical Committee/Pipeline and Machinery Sub-Committee/Marine Cryogenic Valve Working Group) was held in Beijing Hubei Building, 11 from China and South Korea Representatives attended the meeting.
The design and manufacture of cryogenic valves have high requirements and are closely related to the safety of ships, equipment and personnel. The ISO/TC8/SC3/WG14 working group is committed to the formulation of international standards for marine cryogenic valves. There are currently six international standard projects under development, including marine ultra-low temperature stop valves, safety valves, gate valves, check valves, butterfly valves and ball valves. Among them, the standards for cryogenic butterfly valves and cryogenic ball valves were led by China State Shipbuilding Industry Technical and Economic Research Institute, Shanghai Hudong Shipbuilding Valve Co., Ltd., Shuangheng Valve Co., Ltd., Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. Experts from the company, Dalian Marine Valve Co., Ltd. and other units jointly participated. The formulation of relevant international standards will provide technical basis for the design and inspection of marine cryogenic valves, and effectively guide the production of marine auxiliary products.
At this meeting, the working group discussed ISO/WD 20602 "Design and test requirements for low-temperature check valves for ships and marine technology", ISO/WD 19037 "Design and test requirements for low-temperature gate valves for ships and marine technology", ISO/WD 21157 "Ship Discussed with the voting opinions of 4 international standards, including the design and test requirements for cryogenic ball valves for offshore technology, ISO/WD 21159, design and test requirements for cryogenic butterfly valves for ships and offshore technology, and reviewed the technical content of the draft standard. The draft standard Further improve. Among them, the Chinese representative's opinions on the standard based on the current technical status of domestic marine cryogenic valves have been adopted.
