Crossed-linked polyethylene(XLPE) has the electrical and mechanical properties of polyethylene, it has a considerably improved thermal behavior. The excellent thermal properties are expressed by:
uPermissible continual conductor operating temperature of 90℃
uPermissible conductor temperature, up to 130℃ in case of temporary, overload.
uWithstand up to a short-circuit temperature of 250℃
uIt does not become brittle at low temperatures
